New Moon in Pisces | March 18, 2026

 

In just a couple of days we will be experiencing the first New Moon since the last Solar Eclipse. This moon will closeout eclipse season and opens up a new lunar cycle. Pisces (the sign of spirituality, flow, emotions) is the last sign of the zodiac so we are preparing to begin a new astrological year soon!

Pisces in a New Moon represents endings and beginnings at the same time!

So let's talk about what this new moon in Pisces brings as well as what other alignments are coming into play around the same time. 

During the new moon in Pisces we are encouraged to really look inward. Because new moons are literally dark (we can't see them in the sky) they symbolize a more quiet, slower and deeper movement that we should be taking. With Pisces in the mix, we will be able to hone in on our spiritual side with more ease.

So what does this actually mean for you? Whatever you have going on in your life right now that you are feeling should be coming to an end, or a maybe there is a change you've been thinking about making, this energy will help you get more in alignment with understanding what you need to do to get yourself back in alignment.

At the same time, understand that this moon is not the time to take action on anything if you can avoid it. It's the energy of getting still and paying attention to what your higher self is telling you. Meditate on your inner vocals and what they are saying and recommending. This is a highly potent time to think about your dreams (feel the feeling of being IN THEM), using your intuition to guide you and trust those gut feelings.

Also understand that because of the Piscean energy we may experience some mind fog, lack of clarity or something in between but this is because we may not be at a point where we need to have all of the answers but fall back on that trust.

⭐Pluto → Deep personal transformation that ripples into the collective consciousness. Be EXTRA mindful of your thoughts and what you're manifesting. Do your part to contribute to the greater good of humanity through your thoughts and practices.

⭐Retrograde Mercury + North Node (March 17) → What have you been holding back? Say it out loud and to whoever needs to hear it, but speak from a place of meaning, higher perspective and with an objective lens. Meaningful conversations are so damn karmic right now.

⭐Venus square Jupiter (March 18) → Heyyy boost of confidence today! Just be mindful of overindulging and know when enough is enough. 

⭐Sun enters Aries + Mercury stations direct (March 20) → The astrological new year begins and any plans that have had to take a back seat are encouraged to start moving again. Details still need double-checking though since Mercury has a post retrograde shadow period and will take until the beginning of April to fully chill out.

⭐Jupiter + Mars (trine on March 21) → This is a strong day to channel your drive and put it into meaningful projects that benefit your life path, your purpose and the collective.

⭐Neptune cazimi (March 22) → Peak intuition for humanity! This is a powerful day for spiritual and creative practices, focus on opening your third eye and crown chakras more because those downloads will be flowing in. Trusting what you feel over what you can prove with data. In other words, just because you can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Intuition over proof. You get my drift?

• Don't be hesitant or afraid to release what must go! You'll know. You'll feel it. Allow it to carry on without you because something better is trying to come in for you.

• Fact-check your fantasies because Pisces energy can sometimes blur reality. Dream but also balance with grounding practices.
